You won't believe how easy these Fancy Fold Tower Cards are to create!! Cut a standard base card of 5-1/2 X 8-1/2" and score the long side at 1/2", 1-3/4", 3" and 4-1/4". Fold into a square tower and attach to the base card on the 1/2" scored strip. It's time to add any fun designer paper! This cute paper is Snowy Scenes 12 X 12" Designer Series Paper #164333. The snow globes are simply cut from the designer paper!

Here is a top view. The tower is a square. The back of the card has plenty of room for a message!

You may have passed over this Chantilly Lace stamp set #163683 in the catalog because it's an invitation stamp set. The lace images are so lovely and can be used with any sentiments!! The triangular lace image "snuggles" nicely into corners!!

Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set #163600 is used for the sentiment. It's an online exclusive product - not in the annual catalog. The color is Petunia Pop. Did you notice the envelope in Petunia Pop?? Here is a short video so you can create envelopes in ANY color!!

I know you have scraps! Here is a quick, simple way to turn your left over little pieces of designer papers into a sweet card! Cut the top layer of a basic card in half at an angle. Spread the cut edges about 1" wide. From the backside attach a variety of designer paper scraps. Countryside Inn 12X12" Designer Series Paper #161467 was used here.

 On the front, stamp a long sentiment like Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set #163600, (an online exclusive,) along the top cut edge. To balance the sentiment, draw two straight lines below the designer papers. Don't forget to add designer paper to your envelope flap for the perfect presentation! Try it!

What a cute holiday card created by Heather Cousins, demonstrator from Davenport, Iowa! It features the Christmas Friends Stamp Set of 8 images #164279.

*This post was edited because I had the incorrect creator.

This is a "Z" fancy fold. The base card is 4 X 10-1/2", scored at 3-1/2 and 7".  When folded, this creates three equal panels.  The images are stamped on 2" circles and mounted on 2-3/8" red glimmer circles. When you attach the circles, line one up behind the other.

This cute little Birthday card, using Country Birdhouse Bundle #163401 uses a Partial Cut of the die. Do you know what that is?? When die cutting, place the birdhouse die on top of a folded card and put the left roof edge OFF THE CARD FOLD. This edge will not be cut.

This picture shows that the left roof did not cut and created a hinge to make a cute note card!! The white rectangle is a place to write your personal message.

This card could also be used as a tie-on tag! Punch a hole and add a narrow ribbon to tie onto a gift! Try it!

What a stately tree! This handmade card uses the online exclusive, Frosted Forest Bundle #164137. This bundle contains a stamp set, coordinating dies and a decorative mask (stencil.) Because this bundle has MORE parts, it offers MORE ways to be creative. This tree uses ONLY the masks. The grass is the pine tree stamp image.

TIP: before you remove the leaf mask, splatter the tree with a dark green marker! This adds another layer of interest.

The tree image and a gold foil layer were cut with the Countryside Corners Dies #161471. This card would be great for a guy! Be sure to check out the Online Exclusives in my online store's menu. There are lots of fun products there!

Such a lovely set of dies, Encircled in Nature #163628. This pretty wreath is cut from Blackberry Bliss Card Stock and mounted onto Unbounded Beauty 12X12" Designer Series Paper #163372.

Be sure to used Adhesive Sheets #152334 when cutting narrow shaped dies. This eliminates oozing glue when applying the die cut to the card. It's like magic. Try it!

At our recent Midwest North Star Stamper Gathering, we voted on the best swap. It was a difficult decision because we had outstanding swap cards made by the attendees. The winner was Shari Bocker, 20 year demonstrator!! CONGRATS to Shari who received a NEW Holiday sentiment stamp set for her clever creation!!

Shari used the adorable online exclusive, Garden Meadow Bundle #162741. Her use of the Country Woods 12X12" Designer Series Paper #163393 is SO UNIQUE! She used the multi-colored rustic wood planks sheet and cut into 1/4" strips and staggered when attaching. This technique is BARGELLO, similar to the quilt technique by the same name. SO FUN!!
