Twin Tote

100_1792
This sweet little TWIN TOTE is a snap to create with the Petite Purse Die and the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine!!

100_1788
Die cut two purses at the same time. Assemble the sides.

100_1789
Place the purses back-to-back and attach the "lids." Cut off the little closure tab.

100_1791
Punch a circle into the "lids" you just glued together to create a handle. Then embellish! This goes together very quickly! I used the soft BEAU CHATEAU Designer Series Paper and added butterflies made from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit. Give this a try for the perfect table favors!

Cased it!

100_1745
"CASE" means copy-and-share-everything... and I did. I saw this idea by Shoni Matney and LOVED the softness. This is the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set - not so bright. The colors are Pool Party, Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla and a pop of Daffodil Delight.

100_1748
The delicate background is the Netting Stamp.

Faux or fake?

100_1742
This sweet little number was a Make & Take from Stampin' Up!'s Leadership 2012. The assorted flowers are die cuts from the Occasions Mini Catalog called Blossom Builders. SOOO easy! The layer behind the flowers is simply traced from On Board Merry Medley and then lightly sponged.

100_1744
The side view shows that the scalloped front flap is fake...or artistically called "faux flap."

Fabric Stickers!

100_1643
I created FABRIC STICKERS with the Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets! It's quite easy. Simply peel apart the Adhesive Sheet and spread on the Twitterpated Designer Fabric on the sticky side. Now it can go into the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine!

100_1644
Next, peel the backing off and place your fabric shape onto your project! TOO FUN!! These flowers are made with the Blossom Party Die. Give this a try and you'll be amazed at how easy it is!

Mouthwatering...

100_1734

I love the way Stampin' Up!'s products coordinate! This is a perfect example. The Sweet Shop Designer Series Paper has the ice cream cone image that pairs perfectly with the Mouthwatering Stamp Set! Creating simplified.

100_1735
The Sweet Shop Designer Series Paper also gives you a great color palette to work with!

100_1698
Judy from Rockford, IL sent me this gorgeous bird created from the Elegant Bird Die and the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. The bird is Twitterpated Designer Fabric attached with the Big Shot Adhesive Sheets.

100_1697
This lovely 6"X7" creation arrived in a Twitterpated Designer Series Paper envelope custom-made with the Simply Scored and Diagonal Plate! SOO special!

100_1699
The card inside is just as inviting! This is a wonderful example of all the Occasions Mini Catalog new Dies for the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine! Just a reminder - the Occasions Mini Catalog ENDS April 30th.

100_1664 (2)

100_1664
A snazzy Real Red button POPS when paired with the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper! I love these generic words from Friendly Phrases Stamp Set. Create something TODAY!!

Birthday Contest Winner announced tomorrow, so I hope you entered!

Yo Yo Project

100_1630
This is my Gandma's Sewing Lamp and I sooo happy I have it! I needed a new lampshade so I embellished a plane white shade with Yo Yos. Yesterday I taught you how to make Yo Yos quick and easy with the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.

100_1635
I hot glued Baja Breeze Pleated Ribbon around the lower edged, and then hot glued on my Yo Yos created from Stampin' Up! Fabrics.

100_1633
For balance, I needed a top treatment. I attached fabric to the peel-and-stick Big Shot Adhesive Sheets and then cut a scallop from Tasteful Trim Die. That created a "Fabric Sticker" I could simple peel and stick to the top edge. Last, another row of Pleated Ribbon.

I think Grandma would LOVE it and be happy I have her little sewing lamp in my Stamp Room to enjoy!!

Stained Glass Designer Cuts Tutorial

100_1564
Isn't this a lovely effect? It's easy...

100_1561
On the INSIDE of a Designer Cuts card, permanently attach a piece of cardstock vellum over the design. Grab your markers - I chose alots of blues and one green from my Stampin' Up! Many Marvelous Markers. On the inside (which is the BACK of the card front) quickly scribble colors onto the vellum over the cut openings.

100_1562
NO need to be neat - be quick. Then permanently cover the vellum with Very Vanilla cardstock for a tidy appearance.

100_1563
The card front will now have a STAINED GLASS look! It's fun to experiment with different color combos!

100_1570
Now YOU give it a try! Stock up on the Designer Cuts cards and envelopes from the Occasions Mini Catalog which expires April 30th.

Elegant Bird in 3-D

100_1545
Here is a 3-D hanging bird I created using the Elegant Bird Die and my very handy Big Shot! There is a wing on BOTH sides. I spray painted aluminum flashing, cut with the Big Shot and then embossed the wings with an embossing folder. This bird will find a place in my potted plants - it's all aluminum and will not rust! Try it! Come back in the near future for MORE aluminum creations - I've been "PLAYING!"

Rue Des Fleurs

100_1504
This was one of my favorite Leadership swaps - unique and simple. It was made by Barbara D. of New Jersey. The images are in the Rue Des Fleurs Stamp Set.

100_1503
This is my version in Blushing Bride. The graceful curved and embossed edge is made with the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine and Adorning Accents Edgelits and Adorning Accents Embossing Folder. Use a black permanent marker to color the rhinestones while on the backing sheet, blot, and then attach. Chic.

What do you do with a Hat Pin?

100_1520
Did you see the Hat Pins in the Occasions Mini Catalog on page 18?? Here is a creative use of the Hat Pin by my demonstrator friend Tami Waddell. She laced the pin through ribbon and lace! So pretty!

100_1521
The card is the lovely Designer Cuts that comes with Blushing Bride Envelopes! Just back the die cut shape with any cardstock or Designer Series Paper to have a speedy card! The package contains 8 cards, in two designs. Give them a try!

A Heart for You...

100_1502
This great Valentine uses up lots of thin scraps you just don't want to pitch! This card was sent to me by my demonstrator friend Peggy T. of Illinois. It uses the Sweet Shop Designer Series Papers and a Sale-A-Bration free greeting. The heart shape is cut with Hearts Collection Framelit and the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. Love these colors of Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder!

My Type

100_1231
This card was a favorite at my recent Valentine class. Everyone loved the old typewriter and had a story tell about pre-computer days! This creation would be great to give to a guy. I love the First Edition Designer Series background paper that features the "olde type." Its a perfect match for the stamp set "You're My Type."

100_1232

The Red Glimmer Paper punched with the Heart to Heart Punch adds glitz. I've just returned from Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference in San Antonio so keep stopping by for my "BEST of SWAPS!"

"Y" is for You

100_1162
This is a CHEERY greeting! The words are from my favorite, "Occasions Alphabet" stamp set of 26 greetings. It's unique and versatile. I LOVE the new "Labels Collection" Framelit and the "Fashionable Hearts" Embosslits! Very fast to cut curvy layers with the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine and these new dies!100_1163
The festive background, petite ribbon and coordinating brad are all FREE items for the Sale-A-Bration Promo, Jan. 24th thru March. It starts TOMORROW!

Fashionable Hearts

100_1225
I cased this 3X6"card idea from Carrie Gaskin because it is very unique! It features the NEW "Fashionable Hearts" Embosslits Die for the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.

100_1224
I used the embosslit with Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Riding Hood Red, and Basic Grey. I popped out the hearts and mixed the colors, then re-inserted the images into the coordinating hole. This is sooo chic! Give it a try!

Valentine

100_1229
This is a Valentine made in my recent class using "P.S. I Love You" stamp set of 15 images. I love the colors of Basic Grey and Blushing Bride! All products are from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

100_1230
I love all the textures: satiny pleated ribbon, shiny Rhinestones, metallic Heart trinket, and Fashionable Hearts embossed with the MUST HAVE Big Shot Die Cutting Machine! Time to start your Valentines!

A very happy card!

100_1201
This card was created by Julie B. of CA, my Inkerbelle Demonstrator sister. It just makes me happy! The base color is the cheerful Calypso Coral. I LOVE the Edgelit Die and matching Adorning Accents Embossing Folder that creates the curved edge!  The fancy floral paper is a FREE Sale-A-Bration item beginning Jan. 24th.100_1202
Julie used the Occasions Mini Catalog stamp set, "Mixed Bunch" with the coordinating "Blossom" Punch! Very quick and showy!
