I was thinking of NEHI Orange Soda when I was stamping this! LOL I used Tangerine Tango for the bottles. The Bubble Over Bundle #146082 has some really fun framelits! Love the "bendy" straws and realistic looking bottle caps!!
This is a good gender neutral bundle!

Peggy Taylor, my friend and a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, sent me this very clever "frame card!" I don't own this stamp set, and had to look it up because I couldn't remember a "frame." SURPRISE - the frame is created by repeating a "U-shaped" arched image! LOVE the results. Thanks for this great idea, Peggy!

Here is a "comparison" for you today! Two different ways to use the lovely images from Beautiful Day Stamp Set #145915. This red butterfly on vellum, emphasizes the boldness of the outline.
That emphasis is achieved by using ANY dark color ink for this image.
This time the outline is a light ink which gives a totally different effect. The colors in the wings are more prominent now. The outlines are secondary. The ink is Soft Sky for the image, colored with Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Old Olive Blends.
Try both dark and light outlines for totally different results!

I NEVER have enough floral images! Southern Serenade Stamp Set #145921 has a lovely lacey image to pair with the floral. I got out Vellum #101856 which I have neglected far too long! This is the "Stained Glass" Technique. Stamp the image on Vellum, dry, color on the BACKSIDE. It's a nice soft look. This is Pink Pirouette cardstock and Blends. Stampin' Write Markers can be used as well.
I scored the left edge of the vellum and wrapped it around the back of the layer to attach. I "hid" a glue dot on the back of a flower center to keep the Vellum flap in place.
Another version - I used Blushing Bride Cardstock and Light Calypso Coral Blends on Vellum. This is a special sympathy card that has already gone in the mailbox.

I used a "flicking motion" to color this butterfly with: Bermuda Bay Duo, Light Pool Party, and Pumpkin Pie Duo BLENDS on Shimmery White Card Stock #101910. LOVE the final results!

I got so busy playing with Brusho Crystal Colour #144101 that I forgot to post...ooops! This card is Eclectic Expressions (a FREE Sale-A-Bration item with purchase) embossed in White Embossing Powder on Watercolor Paper. Then I just "PLAYED" by spritzing water and sprinkling on red and yellow Brusho. Brusho Crystals dissolve into color when they are wet. Every creation is different!
After the watercolor paper dried, I stamped the "shapes" from the stamp set.
This card is a "Z Fold," using the same Brusho colors.

Love these handy Silver Mini Gable Boxes #145568 for gift giving!! When paired with the NEW Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder it's a WOW!!! Here's how-
Use an exacto knife to gently open the seam of the box so you can lay it flat.
Insert one half of the box into the embossing folder with the EDGE of the embossing folder at the top score mark of the top of the box. Repeat for the other half of the box. Black and White papers are SO easy to work with because they are neutral. Here is what I did with my very last sheet of Petal Passion Designer Series 12 X 12" Paper #145589.
Using Stampin' Up! BLENDS alcohol markers, I colored one flower OR one group of the same flower as a "spotlight." The last of the scraps were attached to the envelopes with my favorite adhesive, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue #110755. All products are available here at the blue SHOP & ORDER Banner. My last post used the Daisy Delight Bundle and Brusho Crystal Colour. I just couldn't throw away the beautiful SCRAPS!! I grabbed a smaller image, Fruit Basket Bundle #145977, and got creating!
I chose the darker colored areas of the Brusho scraps to punch the strawberry images. I stamped the fruit bowl on a Whisper White circle and SLIT IT with an exacto knife to insert the fruits.
Next, I punched the pears from the lighter, more yellow areas of the scraps.
This background paper, is Tutti-frutti 6X6" Designer Series Paper #145606 from the same suite of products. LOVE my scrappy results!! Use your resources wisely.

I stamped the Daisy Delight (#145361 for Bundle) image onto a "practice sheet" of Brusho Crystal Colour #144101. I loved the colorful variegated petals that punched out!
I couldn't decide which I liked, so created both!
The center of this Daisy is the green from Myths & Magic 6X6" Glimmer Paper #145601 cut with a 1/2" Circle Punch. The words are Celebrate You Thinlits Dies #146840, a FREE item with purchase during Sale-A-Bration Promo.
This base card is Peekaboo Peach. I used the same green from the pack of Glimmer Pack and the same die pack. Which card do you like BEST??

This is call an Envelope Card and it uses very little paper. The base is 4 X 5-1/4" which saves paper when cutting from a 12 X12" sheet! The tip of the triangular flap TUCKS under the strip below. SO SIMPLE & UNIQUE!
The flap is a 3-3/4" square, scored diagonally. The flap opens to reveal your message!
This back view shows the square flap. This GORGEOUS paper is Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper #145580 - OH SO SPLASHY!! The stamps and dies are the Sure Do Love You Bundle #145965 wood or #145966 clear.
Be sure to dimensionalized (elevate) the strip so you are able to TUCK the tip of the flap 1/4" under. TRY this FUN FOLD!!

Let's start the New Year with one of my favorite SPACE SAVING TIPS! Some clear mount stamp sets come in two cases because the uncut rubber takes up space.
After I attach the images labels, I put all images into the same case.
The case covers slip easily out of the plastic sleeve of the case. I combine the two case covers into one, making sure I have an index on the spine of the box. A little trimming and gluing and I have ONE perfectly complete stamp case instead of TWO!!
It's important to have an accurate spine index so you see all the images and sentiments when you are searching. Try this!
