Stampin' Up!'s Mini Egg Cartons are great little Easter treat holders!! They are made from pressed fiber so SPRITZ easily. Mix a couple drops of reinker in a Spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol. Try lots of Easter pastel colors! This carton was decorated by the Stampin' Up! Art Department - ADORABLE.

It's very easy to create water on your handmade cards. Simply tear cardstock!! Keep your fingers close together and tear towards yourself for the most control. I like to use the torn side with exposed fibers for even more interest and texture. The same "paper tearing" technique can create sand for a beach!
I cut the left edge of the shovel away from the bucket so I could "push" it into the sand! This is another card from my recent FLORIDA THEMED CARDS CLASS. Try tearing some cardstock!!

We used Jet Black StazOn ink to stamp the glasses onto Silver Foil Paper, cut out just the lens, and add to Daffodil Delight sunglass frames!! Pretty cute!! You can almost feel the warm sand between your toes!! TRY THIS simple sunglass technique!

Some stamp images just scream MOTION!! It's easy to create: ink up once, stamp repeatedly moving slightly each time. For this hammer, I kept the heel of the handle in the same place when repeating the image. Stamp in the OPPOSITE direction of the actual motion you want to mimic. I stamped first near the wood and then rotated the head of the hammer upward.

I cut an oval thinlit in Soft Suede and Pool Party cardstocks, then plugged the Pool Party petals into the Soft Suede oval die cut. I popped up the center of Soft Suede painted with clear Wink of Stella.

Today's Valentine is a showy Tri-Fold design. This requires 12X12" cardstock. Start with your Real Red cardstock cut to 12" X 5-1/2". Score at 4-1/4", 7-1/4" and 10-1/4". A Belly Band holds the card flat and the band's measurement is flexible. Mine is 1" X 9-1/2". The feature is the sweet Sending Love Design Series Papers!
I like to give the Belly Band a cute FOCAL point! LOVE THE LIPS STAMP!!!

A quick review of my last post: Use a So Detailed Thinlits die cut as a STENCIL! Today I used TWO colors as I sponged the design on a card front.
I chose Dapper Denim & Bermuda Bay pads.
I made 2 versions of this card. This is the quick, simple one.
This is my FAVORITE! I cut a Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper die cut to lay over the stenciled area! WOW, what a POP! I LOVE Glimmer Paper... as you already know!!

I needed a coordinating envelope for this Valentine. So, I cut an extra die cut from the same die used on my card. I lightly attached it to the envelope flap, just to hold it in place.
Using a sponge dauber, I pounced on heavy color using a Real Red ink pad.
I gently pulled away the die and I have the perfect coordinating envelope flap! The Die Cut was used as a stencil! As a BONUS, I can use the Red Stencil on another project! Another variation in my NEXT post! Stop back.

My mind is full of HAPPY!! I LOVE these easy, quick cards!! I created them with the NEW "Happy Celebrations" stamp set by Stampin' Up! The word "happy" is one image so you do NOT have to line up any letters! My tip: use a medium to dark color for the words and a lighter tint for the cascading dots!
