I've been creating LOTS of flowers - here's to my NORTHERN FRIENDS!! Spring WILL come! Till then, create your own spring with Stampin' Up!'s Spiral Flower Die!! Directions: begin at the SMALL end of the die cut paper, roll tightly around a small diameter stick (skewer.) Remove the stick and let the paper "relax" to open up the petals. The last scallop of the die is a BASE, add hot glue to the base and attached the rolled petals. Next, I like to lay the flower, petals-down-on-the-table and PRESS. This slightly flattens the flower and turns a few petals back. Mold the paper to your liking. Try TWO DIES to make a larger flower OR, HALF OF A DIE to create a tiny bud. SOOOO many possibilities!! Non-wilt, re-usable flowers perfect for party & wedding decorations!

Use: Designer Series Papers, Foil Papers, Brushed Metallic Papers, Coordinations Cardstock, Standard Cardstock, Felt, ETC!!!

Add: Sponging, Dazzling Diamonds, Glitter Glue, Sanding, Crumpling. Try adding these fast, pretty flowers to wreaths, pins, tote bags, magnets, baby headbands, bracelets, ETC!! I added a floral wire thru the center to create a stem.

I used Janet Wakeland's idea: I bought a cheap salt shaker and filled it with coarse sand. I inserted the stems thru the shaker holes to create a nice little bouquet for my desk!!! Another flower idea in my next post so stop back!
