Cute ideas from the home office for In the Pines Bundle #155182!!

You must try this STRIKING, eye-catching sunrise/sunset technique!! It's actually easy using my tips! Use the Life is Beautiful Stamp Set #154871 from the August - December Holiday Catalog.

Selecting colors is very important! This is a list of these colors in order:
Use SHIMMERY WHITE CARD STOCK #101910, for it's finish. Collect the ink from the ink pad using a SPONGE DAUBER #133773. Saturate the card stock by scrubbing with the inked daubers all the way across the card stock. Blend the sky colors where they meet. Do not blend the green for the earth. Trim and add the little trimmed strip to the inside of the card for color.

For interest, BEND the photopolymer tree image and mount to block. Stamp images in Tuxedo Black Momento ink pad #132708. Mount onto basic Black Card Stock. Impress yourself!! Try it!!

I personalized a gift for my granddaughter, Lily!! I coordinated the card image to the fabric print!! The card is made with the versatile Beautiful Day Stamp Set #151257!!

Next, I added "Butterfly Confetti" made w/ the Butterfly Duet Punch #148523. I included a pre-addressed, pre-stamped blank card and asked Lily to "make me a butterfly card!" She loves crafts! This was such a fun project to create, and I bet it will deliver SMILES!!

This card was colored with Stampin' Up! Blends: Highland Heather Combo and Lovely Lipstick Combo. I added Wink of Stella glitter pen on the wings for SPARKLE!

Tranquility at it's best! A lovely card for sending sympathy, made with the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set #151490.

The base card is Seaside Spray. The wash on Watercolor Paper is Seaside Spray and Highland Heather inks applied with an Aqua Painter #103954. The lovely fern image is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink. The sweet trim is Purple Posy 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon.

I needed a peaceful card and this Beautiful Moments Stamp Set #151677 was the perfect solution!

This image is so thoughtful and calm. It looks breezy so I chose the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder #151474 for the layer because of the swirls. The designer paper is Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper #149100 with soft flowers.

The base card is Petal Pink. Black would be too harsh so I chose Crumb Cake Ink Pad.

TIPS for an exquisite sunrise or sunset on hand stamped cards:

   *Use Shimmery White Card Stock #101910 and Sponge Daubers #133773

   *Add saturated color to the card stock by collecting water based ink from an ink pad and SCRUBBING the ink all the way across the card with a dauber.

   *For blended colors for the sky, OVERLAP the colors.

   *Stamp silhouetted images on the finished base with BLACK ink

   *Color in any open areas that should be silhouetted using a water based BLACK marker

   *Layer onto a BLACK card base to pop colors

   *PRACTICE & EXPERIMENT

Use plenty of ink, loading your dauber multiple times!

Any highlights, like on this gazebo roof, can be filled in with a black marker to create a true silhouette.

NATURE'S BEAUTY Stamp Set #150528 was chosen by Shari Wicks, fellow demonstrator, to create this soft, sweet bunny card which I cased. LOVE IT!!

Do you recognize this Designer Paper?? It's MONSTER BASH DESIGNER SERIES PAPER #150447! It's PERFECT!

This is a 4 x 4" Gate Fold card: cut base card 11 x 4" and then score at 2, 3-3/4, 7-1/4, and 9". This fits in a Stampin' Up! medium envelope. (Don't use a square envelope because it's extra US postage.)

The realistic bunny is colored with Stampin' Up! Blends alcohol markers: Light Smoky Slate and Ivory. To create the snow, I dotted on SNOWFALL ACCENT PUFF PAINT #150691 and sprinkled it with ICE STAMPIN' GLITTER #150445. Then I heated the puff paint with a heat tool and the glitter adhered. You can also adhere the glitter with SHIMMERY CRYSTAL EFFECTS #150892.

Sentiment is from MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL #147702. This is the perfect holiday card for a nature lover!! TRY IT!

I LOVE this card!! Free as a Bird Stamp Set #149468 is an OPEN IMAGE design. Simply take a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker #100082 and color the images black to create a silhouette! It's SOOO easy and totally changes the appearance!  The background is Shimmery White card stock #101910 which has a nice finish for creating sunsets!  Using markers, scribble sunset colors onto Shimmery card stock by starting off one side and ending off the other. Don't worry about being perfect, because the image goes on top. Next, stamp your image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Fill in all open designs with the black marker. Sunset marker colors: Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape. You get LOTS OF IMPACT!! TRY IT!

We all need quick cards! Let designer paper be your focal point. Cut a design paper 6" by 1-1/4" or 1-1/2". Attach it diagonally to your card front. Look closely. I added two score lines about 1/8" apart and parallel to the sides of the strip. This adds a bit of interest and texture.

It's a Beachy kind of day!! This card base is Coastal Cabana with a Vellum Cardstock overlay. The chair is Bermuda Bay cardstock die cut with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies #143751.

To hold the Vellum Cardstock in place, use a dry adhesive such a Snail or Tear 'n Tape so your Vellum does not ripple. Place your adhesive behind the circle and behind the chair so it doesn't show.

The scene in the punched 2-1/4" Circle is created with the ever versatile Waterfront Stamp Set #146386. RELAX and dream of the BEACH!

Here is something different using First Frost Stamp Set #148420. The asymmetric design pops with a bit of Granny Apple Green punched with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch #143721.

This one substitutes an edge of ribbon for the punched strip. The images are shimmered with Clear Wink of Stella #141897.

I enjoy creating Sunset/Sunrise cards! "Enjoy Life" Stamp Set #148190 is a lovely silhouette stamp set to use with this FUN technique.

Here is my process which allows me to reproduce the same card multiple times:

    *Punch or die cut a generous shape in the center of a quarter sheet of scrap cardstock.

    *Lay this template on your cardstock and hold in place. (I just use my fingers.)

    *Using a Sponge Dauber #133773 pounce on an ink pad to collect color, then scrub ink into the opening of the template, using a horizontal motion going beyond the edges of the template.  Blend one color into the next if desired.

    *Mark your colors for use at a later time and keep in the template in your stamp case.

    *Stamp a silhouette in black ink within the window before removing the template.

This is a lovely, thoughtful sentiment! Try sponging a Sunrise/Sunset!
