Check out this very unique use of the Hearth & Home Thinlit Die!! Adorable frosted French Doors made with four window frames and Vellum!!
Inside the doors...the NEW Mr. & Mrs. Mike Davis!! This is such a special wedding THANK YOU!! It was designed by the bride, Rachel Ruiz-Davis, a North Star Stamper team member! GREAT card, Rachel!! (The wedding was on Halloween hence the orange doors.)
It's EASY to "dress up" a wine bottle for gift giving! These directions are for a 750ML bottle. I started with Real Red Cardstock cut to 8-1/2" X 3". Score at 2-1/2" on the long side then fold to a 90 degree angle. Use a 1-3/8" Circle Punch to make a hole in the center of the small scored area. The bottle neck goes thru this hole.
I embellished the Bottle Bib with a striking Black Glimmer Paper "Delicate Ornament" #139667 die cut, lined with Gold Foil Paper. To curl the 1/8" Gold Ribbon, wrap it around a pencil and CAREFULLY add heat with a Heat Tool. (Not too close because the ribbon will melt.) Let cool. Remove pencil.

Here is a SHOW-STOPPER 3-D Card you will love to send!!
Start by cutting FOUR ornaments out of Gold Foil Paper #132622 using the Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies #139667 and the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine #113439. (These directions are for a symmetric design.)
Gently fold and crease each ornament exactly in half vertically.
Use the Fine Tip Glue Pen #138309 to adhere half of each ornament to half of another corresponding ornament. Do not attach the final halves to each other - instead attach them to your card front.
This is how your ornament will attach to the card. After the glue is dry, the ornament will fold FLAT for mailing!

This version uses Night of Navy Ink Pad to create a night sky.
I did not sponge the tree trunks in this version. I used a Basic Black Marker to color the dents in the trunks.
Rhinestones add STARS to the night sky.

I'm going to show you how to get FANTASTIC results from the Woodland Embossing Folder.
Start by adding ink to the INSIDE of the LOGO side of the embossing folder. I simply dragged my open Marina Mist Ink Pad across the folder. You may also add ink by brayer or sponge. Run thru the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.
Next, I added a touch of Sahara Sand Ink to the branch using a sponge dauber. This is an option step.
To define the bark, I used the FINE TIP of a Tip Top Taupe Marker and quickly marked the branch dents. Then I added a thin line along the LEFT SIDE of all the vertical branches to act as a slight shadow.
The sentiment is minimal because the branches are the texture & detail of this card.
DON'T stress over any imperfections. Nature has LOTS of variation!! Please try this cool idea and get MORE from your Woodland Embossing Folder!! Click in tomorrow to see a Navy version completed.

Today I used the Delicate Ornment Thinlits Dies to create a stencil. With Real Red Ink and a Sponge Dauber I scrubbed in lots of color to make the ornament. Last I embellishment with Gold Glimmer Paper. This is a quick easy card and lets you get more use from your dies!

How do you S-T-R-E-T-C-H Designer Series Papers? This is a standard 4-1/4 X 5-1/2" card. Cut the Designer Paper 4 X 4 ". Then cut at an angle and spread 1-1/4" as you apply it to your card base. Stamp your sentiment in the opening. You can cut nine 4" squares from one 12 X 12" Designer Paper!! Demonstrators: this is great for Christmas Stamp-A-Stacks!!

This sweet poinsettia is created w/ the "Reason for the Season BUNDLE" which includes a punch! After stamping the petals & leaves I punched them out. Folding the petals & leaves in half lengthwise adds extra dimension!!

Here is the TRICK to framing
this Jolly & Simple card!!
You will need:
* A Project Life Journaling Pen #135304
* An appropriate sized thinlit - like
"Seasonal Frame Thinlits" #139658
For interest, let your stamped image "break the frame line!" Lay the thinlit on the card. Tape the thinlit in place using low adhesive tape over the image where there will be NO line. Pen the INSIDE of the rectangle, starting and stopping only at the corners to make the line smooth. Add the ornament's bow last.

I had a little piece of the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum #139594 left, so I used it inside the card. Placing the sentiment in the lower corner is a nice change!
I love the envelope liner created with the same Designer Vellum in the same design, but opposite color! Classy!

Let's make some colorful Autumn leaves with the awesome Vintage Leaves Bundle! You will need the following:
*Watercolor Paper
*3 Classic Ink Pads: Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry
*Aqua Painter filled with water
Next, lightly wet the watercolor paper and apply areas of color - you can even be a little messy about it! I chose to blend the colors into each other. LET DRY completely, then:
*Stamp leaf images onto dry Watercolor Paper using Archival Black Ink
*Die Cut images with the coordinating Leaflets Framelits Dies
Now you have a "pile of leaves to play in!" I mean "with!" LOL
I love all the RANDOM shading that results!!
SO FUN!! I double-matted using Basic Black to accent those black veins in all the leaves! Now look inside-

Here are my tips: on the Woodland background, a used the FINE tip of my Basic Grey Stampin' Write Marker to mark the indentation in the tree branches! Also, I cut the Soft Suede layer 1-3/4" wide, then centered the 2" Circle Punch to remove a space to highlight the acorn! FUN!!
