My ALL-TIME favorite way to package handmade cards as a gift, is this quick and easy TWO-POCKET CARD FOLDER! Here is my pattern that uses one full sheet of card stock. The Folder holds four standard cards or four note cards.

Embellish the front of the Folder as much or as little as you like.  The main thing, REPEAT the colors and images used on the cards inside for a professional look.

Here are the four standard cards and envelopes in this Folder. The same crisp, snappy True Love Designer Paper #154281 was used on this entire project.  I used the Medium Daisy Punch #149517 and used the small daisy-like print on each card. The accent is Silver Foil Paper #132178 and the little heart from the Dog Builder Punch #148543. The cards are fast and simple. Pick your favorite designer series paper and try this!

SHARING WHAT I LOVE!

Design once, then repeat! This True Love Designer Series Paper #154281 is all black and white. It creates SNAPPY cards!

This is a simple layout. The designer papers create the interest.

I only changed the top layer of designer paper.

Make sure to decorate your enevelope for a finished look. It's easy.

Apply adhesive around the edge of the envelope flap. Lay a straight edge of designer paper on the flat and butted up to the flap crease. Then...

Flip envelope to the backside. Cut off excess designer paper. NO PATTERN NEEDED!

GARDENING TIP: you can change the color of your garden Hydrangeas from pink to BLUE by adding SOIL ACIDIFER, found in your garden center near the fertilizers! It's MAGIC!!

The Hydrangea Hill Suite #155985 is ELEGANT and let's you create any color blossoms you desire on card stock! These are "Z" fold cards cut 4-1/4 X 11" then scrored at 2-3/4 and 5-1/2". VERY EASY! I used the interesting Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate sheets #154574. The left one is Highland Heather color. The right one is flipped over to the silver side of the Mercury Glass Acetate.

I inked the flower image in Highland Heather and then "rolled" the edge of the image in Seaside Spray ink for a lovely realistic color combo. That is called the "ROCK & ROLL" technique.

I rarely make just one card at a time, so this one is varied from the other.

Cards this exquisite demand fancy envelopes! The top envelope has the flap covered in the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper #154570. The lower card I created from the same Designer Papers using the border print and here is how:

To create this fancy fold, start with a 5-1/2 x 4-1/4" base. Center and attach a narrow card cut 2-1/2 x 11", scored at 5-1/2". It's simple and striking!

WHAT special treatment did I use on this adorable Jar of Flowers Bundle w/ PUNCH #154064??

ANSWER: I punched a jar from a Window Sheet #142314 using the Jar Punch from the bundle to create GLOSS like real glass! Easy, Fast, Effective! All the stamping was done on the card stock, not the window sheet.

The flowers are colored with Stampin' Up! BLENDS, alcohol markers. The "water in the jar" is the reversible stamp image - so handy!!

Flirty Flamingo Blends Combo markers colored this detailed To a Wild Rose Stamp Set #149452 using only the outline stamp image. This is a total different look from my last post where I used the 3-step stamping method. Click photo to enlarge. 

This is a "Z" Fold card: cut 11 x 4-1/4", scored at 2-3/4 and 5-1/2".  The  sentiment "friend" is die cut from the Well Written Dies #148534 in black card stock.

NO FUSSY cutting. Use the Wild Rose Dies #149547! This set is VERSATILE!

Photopolymer stamp images are totally CLEAR and make this 3-step To a Wild Rose Stamp #149452 very sophisticated! Three-step images stack to create magnificent shading!!

The flower colors are Cajun Craze, Grapefruit Grove and Terracotta Tile. The bottom flower is full strength inks. The other two flowers were second generation or stamped off, so the intensity is less.

This is a fancy fold called a double "Z" fold: Base card is 11 x 4-1/4", scored at 2-3/4 and 5-1/2". The layer is 8-1/4 x 3", scored at 2-3/4 and 5-1/2".  The Cajun Craze layer and envelope flap are embossed w/ the sweet Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder #152725. When I first saw the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint #150691 in the Holiday Catalog, I thought of these Cotton stalks in the Country Home Stamp Set #147678. It's the PERFECT touch of fluffy texture!

The little bottle of magic, puffs up like: snow, cotton, lamb's wool, clouds or whipped cream!!

Experiment and practice before using this product on your finished design. For larger areas, you can apply the puffing liquid right from the tip of the bottle. I wanted small cottony puffs on my card so this worked well for me;

    1. SHAKE bottle.

    2. Apply a small puddle on scrap paper.

    3. Use a toothpick to dot liquid in small areas. Use less than you think because it will expand.

    4. Heat with a Heat Tool to puff. It grows as it puffs! LOTS OF FUN!!

The background is one piece of Mercury Glass Designer Acetate #150441 cut 5-1/2 X 4-1/4", then diagonally to make two cards. Old Olive card base.

Cajun Craze card base. Coloring is done with the amazing Stampin' Up! BLENDS alcohol markers! Try it!

A bundle of handmade greeting cards is a SUPER gift! The Acetate Card Boxes #144628 are the PERFECT container and can be embossed with any 4-1/2" wide embossing folder! Here I used the NEW Heirloom Frames 3D Embossing Folder #152325. Slip the one side of the embossing folder into the flatten box so you are embossing one side. Adjust your sandwich and emboss. Easy!

I found this clever embossing trick by Diana Langman. I have never seen this before. 

1. Emboss the Purple Posy card stock with Subtle 3D Embossing Folder #151775.

2.  Emboss the same card stock with Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder #151823 by inserting one corner into the machine. STOP just before the outside edges of the embossing folder hit the machine. Back the embossing folder out of the machine. Be careful not to damage the embossing folder by continuing to emboss too far. 

This is the absolutely gorgeous Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper #149100. It's very Monet-like and impressionistic!
