Roses are appropriate for so many occasions! This lovely Layers of Beauty Bundle #163519 saves you 10% for stamps, dies and masks! These cards were colored by using the MASKS, also known as stencils. The masks are numbered and have a notch to line up each layer of color. It's fun to use different color combos! What a difference color makes.

Both cards were die cut after coloring. The images can also be colored with Blends or watercoloring - whatever is your favor technique. These sweet flowers are a wonderful bundle to own.

Cut a base card of Cherry Cobbler color 5-1/2 X 5-1/4" and score at 1" on the short side. For the card front, cut designer paper 5-1/4 x 4". This is an easy card and an efficient designer paper cut. The black strip is 5-1/4 x 3/4" and embossed with the NEW Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder #164049 coming Sept. 4th!

Such a lovely set of dies, Encircled in Nature #163628. This pretty wreath is cut from Blackberry Bliss Card Stock and mounted onto Unbounded Beauty 12X12" Designer Series Paper #163372.

Be sure to used Adhesive Sheets #152334 when cutting narrow shaped dies. This eliminates oozing glue when applying the die cut to the card. It's like magic. Try it!

At our recent Midwest North Star Stamper Gathering, we voted on the best swap. It was a difficult decision because we had outstanding swap cards made by the attendees. The winner was Shari Bocker, 20 year demonstrator!! CONGRATS to Shari who received a NEW Holiday sentiment stamp set for her clever creation!!

Shari used the adorable online exclusive, Garden Meadow Bundle #162741. Her use of the Country Woods 12X12" Designer Series Paper #163393 is SO UNIQUE! She used the multi-colored rustic wood planks sheet and cut into 1/4" strips and staggered when attaching. This technique is BARGELLO, similar to the quilt technique by the same name. SO FUN!!

The base card is the easy-to-use NEW Basic Beige color! EXCELLENT card, Shari! Thanks to everyone else who had VERY lovely cards, also. So glad you all joined us - you are the best!!

Try this calming color combo of NEW Basic Beige and Night of Navy! It's lovely! This card features the Spotlight on Nature Bundle #163581 which includes the fancy circle dies.

The ink pad used is Pebbled Path, a soft neutral. The floral layer has been splatter with the Wink of Stella Glimmer Pen #141897. The background is the NEW Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder #163789.

If you don't like to color OR don't have the time to color, this card is for YOU!! It's quick and easy, but still pretty!! The colors are Petunia Pop, Bubble Bath and Pebbled Path.

Layer a piece of scrap paper at any angle across Bubble Bath card stock. Using the Stampin' Up! Blending Brush #153611 and Petunia Pop ink pad, very lightly sponge ink onto the Bubble Bath card stock not covered by scrap paper. Remove the scrap paper. Then stamp the flower image from Spotlight on Nature Stamp Set #163579 in Pebbled Path ink. SO EASY!! Try it!! Mail it!!

I have really missed creating while we were relocating!! This pretty image is from the NEW Spotlight on Nature Bundle #163581!! It features the NEW In Color, Pretty in Pink - so sweet!!

It's paired with the FUN Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder #163789. This embossing folder is an excellent framing for any size circle. The embossing folder is an ex-large size measuring 8-1/2 X 6"!

The flower is lightly sponged with Peach Pie ink applied with a Blending Brush. The flower is painted with Wink of Stella #141897 for  shimmer!

My Team member, Shari Wicks, shared this FUN Blends technique with me!! The results are stunning!!

Die cut the  Gorgeous Garden Die #161283 using Adhesive Sheets #152334. Apply firmly to Basic White Thick Card Stock #159229.  Using Stampin' Up! Alcohol Blends SMALL BULLET TIP, color every opening in the die. This goes very quickly because the die acts as a barrier to keep the bullet tip within each area. 

The Blends used : Highland Heather, Granny Apple, Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Pool Party for the background.

Try this unique coloring method with an open die!! Thank you Shari for sharing with me!! It's fun and impressive!

I met a really nice demonstrator, Kathy Hilden of Michigan, at Stampin' Up!'s BackStage/Leadership Event in Las Vegas. Her swap was just the BEST idea and sweetly created.  Isn't this just ADORABLE!! Well, it's super easy! Just start with Designer Series Paper cut 3 X 3".  Cut it in half at a slight angle. Spread the cut and put your sentiment there. Trading swaps with other demonstrators is just the BEST!! We all have different styles.

The base card is Pool Party with a layer of Pretty Peacock. This Garden Walk 6 X 6" Designer Series Paper #161945 is just CHARMING!! What a sweet card, Kathy!! Thanks for swapping with me!!

Give your stamped image a pattern! This technique is called "PAPER PIECING." Simply stamp your image onto designer paper, cut out and apply to the main image. Choose a design "scale" that is appropriate.
