EXTRA SPECIAL post!! I just finished this flannel rag strip quilt for my second granddaughter, Carly Rose, due in the next 2 weeks! It was sooo fun to make!! Of course I had to create a coordinating card for my treasured gift!! Can't wait to meet precious Carly!!
For this card, I used the same colors from the quilt, cut in strips like the quilt. They were a little too bright so I softened them with a sheet of VELLUM. The letters are Playful Alphabet Dies #152706, popped up with Foam Adhesive Sheets #152815.
This is the quilt and coordinating card I made 4 years ago for #1 Granddaughter, sweet Lily! The nursery theme was "You are my Sunshine."

How cute are these overalls created with the All Dressed Up Dies #151665 that made the "purses" in my last post?!?!?!? I cased this adorable idea from Australian Demonstrator Michele Jutrisa. Michele has a 26 minute video you can view. I just had to make the coveralls with the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper #151189!
Cut off the bottom and side panel of the die cut purse, then cut a "V" to create two legs using the simple measurements above.
Here is the backside so you can see how I crossed the two die cut straps.

Here is a clever idea using Pressed Petal Specialty Washi Tape #149585! I was inspired by Demonstrator, Su Mohr.
Lightly mark the shape of the plain heart punch from Heart Punch Pack of 2 layering hearts #151292. Starting from the TOP of the heart shape, fill in the image by overlapping the self-adhesive Washi Petals. Punch out the completed shape and layer onto a scalloped heart punched from Rose Glimmer Paper #146960.
These tiny tumbling hearts are punched with the Dog Builder Punch #148543.
I love the simplicity and shimmer of this sweet card!! Use it for Valentine, Birthday, Engagement, Wedding, Anniversary or Baby!

This card is in the mail to a stampin' friend who is a GRANDMA for the first time!! It was sooo fun to create for her because I could feel her joy! I became a Grandma for the first time just 3-1/2 years ago.
I used the Well Written Dies #148534 for the perfect words! The background is the 2019-2021 In Color 6x6" Designer Series Paper in soft Purple Posy #149617. It pairs very well with Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape card stocks! The heart frame is Stitched Be Mine Dies #148527.

Grey and White isn't very exciting. That was my challenge when I offered to help my working daughter with a Baby Shower she is hosting soon. The shower is for TWINS - a boy and a girl. Well, I decided to add lots of texture, shine and glimmer! These are "Table Tents," which are the same on both sides.
By adding a "W" of cardstock inside, I insured the tents would not collapse.
The cute little critters are from A WILD THING Stamp Set #144344. The Teeny Tiny bows are from the FARMHOUSE FRAMELITS DIES #147922 and cut six bows at once.
This TWINS Banner will hang on a white tablecloth on the food table.
Texture, shine, glimmer!!
Mini canning jars with cute critters and vellum "grass" are accents for the food table.
I attached the critters to floral wire and added a die cut tree from the same FARMHOUSE FRAMELITS DIES. So how did I do with a challenge of grey and white?? Your stamps are so versatile so use them beyond greeting cards!
The minute I finished this card, I KNEW it should go to the 91 year old gentleman I send to at a nursing home!! I have never met him, but he mailed me, "Everyday is a Holiday when I receive one of your cards." I get a BIG THRILL sending my cards to him!
This sassy little fox is so CUTE!! He is made with Foxy Friends Stamp Set #141549 and coordinating Fox Builder Punch #141470. Together, they create a VERY WIDE variety of critters!

For over a decade this punch art Bunny has been a HIT!! His name is Pete...and Repeat...and Repeat!! LOL He has a way of multiplying because he is so happy and adorable!!
Here is my trick: I like to make a template for the eyes because eye placement can "make or break" a cute little face! Punch two 1/8" holes about in the center of a 1-3/8" circle of Thick Whisper White Card Stock to create your pattern. Lay this template over a punched 1-3/8" Circle and fill in completely with a black Journaling Pen.
One pink nose - 1/4" Circle
Two white cheeks - 1/2" Circle, Dimensionalized
One white head - 1-3/8" Circle, mark eyes with template (above)
Two white ears - smallest oval in Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies, lightly sponged pink
One colored layer - 2-5/8" square in Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies # 145372
The colored layer is Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper #144143.
