The crackled finish lets the color underneath show through! The right side of the acetate has a protective film to be removed. Honestly, both sides are pretty much the same. You can heat emboss it, punch it, die cut it! MANY possibilities!!

I'm not good at watercoloring. I really enjoy my BLENDS alcohol markers, though.  The color goes on smooth without streaking. The DUO shades make shading easier for me. I actually LIKE open image stamp sets now, that need coloring. It's relaxing!

Here is something different using First Frost Stamp Set #148420. The asymmetric design pops with a bit of Granny Apple Green punched with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch #143721.

This one substitutes an edge of ribbon for the punched strip. The images are shimmered with Clear Wink of Stella #141897.

Color makes all the difference!! I'm playing with all the Buffalo Check samples I recently made and posted. LOVE the versatility of the Buffalo Check Background Stamp #147797!!
