Layers of Beauty Trio

Layers of Beauty Decorative Masks
Five masks, also known as stencils, create these gorgeous roses from Layers of Beauty Decorative Masks #163517. I tried something different: each card uses only one color for the roses. It's just the intensity of the application of color that makes the shading. I used Stampin' Up!'s Blending Brushes and these ink pads: Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger and Gorgeous Grape.

The roses were die cut with Layers of Beauty Dies #163518 and mounted at different angles for each card. Any direction works with this versatile image!

My favorite might be the Strawberry Slush on Black from the Botanical Textures 12X12" Designer Series Paper #165545. It's an online exclusive. Did you notice the address label? It's from the Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack #165616. What a lovely card to send. It's appropriate for so many occasions! You really should try this detailed Mask Technique! I love it!
