The cute notes are made by NOT DIE CUTTING the folded edge of the card. Simply position the die off the folded edge of the cardstock. It's very simple and gives you a uniquely shaped card!

Inside, use the same dies to shape the white layer.

The base card is Misty Moonlight color...sort of a denim look.

The cute layers are cut from Neutrals 6 X 6" Designer Series Paper #161641. Sentiments are Go To Greetings #158763. Try this!

Milestone Birthdays require very special cards! The Wanted To Say Dies #161594 are perfect with a choice of "Celebrate" or "Happy Birthday." The number "60" is from the handy Alphabet A La Mode Dies #160750.

The card base features the "Bargello Technique," which starts as 1/2" strips of Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, and Gorgeous Grape colors. You might be familiar with Bargello quilts.

Glue the 1/2" strips to a base card stock. Cut the base card stock into 1/2" strips. Stagger the strips one square down and attach to the card for an interesting background. Try different color combos!! Try different widths of strips. PLAY!!

My team member and friend, Shari Wicks from Florida, used Berry Harvest Stamp #161272 to create this exquisite card. After gold embossing on watercolor paper, Shari water colored the images. The result are stunning and regal!

Inside Shari used the Very Best Trio Punch #159878. Shari has inspired me to use my heat embossing supplies!! When was the last time you heat embossed??

These colors are Gorgeous Grape and Old Olive for water coloring. The base card is Blackberry Bliss with a layer of Distress Gold 12 X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper #159237.
