Foil papers are very impressive, especially when embossed!! This is the Brushed Metallic Cardstock #153524 embossed with the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder #153576! It's a WOW!

Liquid glue shows thru the foil and can leave a ridge on the front side of the foil. I prefer a strong dry adhesive like Tear & Tape #138995 when using foil papers. When using Tear & Tape, apply it and then rub firmly before peeling off the backing. This strong adhesive is a must for using Foil papers, building 3D projects and cards with motion.

EXTRA SPECIAL post!! I just finished this flannel rag strip quilt for my second granddaughter, Carly Rose, due in the next 2 weeks! It was sooo fun to make!! Of course I had to create a coordinating card for my treasured gift!! Can't wait to meet precious Carly!!

For this card, I used the same colors from the quilt, cut in strips like the quilt. They were a little too bright so I softened them with a sheet of VELLUM. The letters are Playful Alphabet Dies #152706, popped up with Foam Adhesive Sheets #152815.

This is the quilt and coordinating card I made 4 years ago for #1 Granddaughter, sweet Lily! The nursery theme was "You are my Sunshine."

Maxie Boy wanted in on the photo shoot, too! He posed so nicely!!
