This is a nice, simple holiday card I received as a swap, but don't have a name to give credit. This stamp set is the versatile Sheltering Tree #137163.

Wink of Stella #141897 adds frosty shimmer to the wintery tree! Lovely!

A great card to have on hand for illness or sympathy, this is the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set #146747. This is a swap card I thought was lovely, but there was no name to give credit. 

The colors are Powder Pink and Basic Grey. It's a nice soft, comforting look!

As promised, more of my favorite OnStage swaps from last week. This unique layout caught my eye! Jo Ann Harris created this card using Peaceful Poinsettia Bundle #149962, New Blackberry Bliss Cardstock and Blends Markers.

The images are heat embossed with Silver and this poinsettia is shimmered with Wink of Stella #141897.

I especially love the slashes of Silver Glimmer Paper!! #146960

Here is a DELIGHTFUL birthday creation by Jackie O'Bryan of KS. Black really POPS the colors!! This is the cute Broadway Birthday Bundle #148321.

Check out this UNIQUE detail: she ran a circle of Window Sheet #142314 thru the Subtle Embossing Folder # 143706!!! Very interesting texture!!

All the color strips are popped out using the Foam Adhesive Strips #141825! This is a HAPPY card for ANYONE's Birthday!

Here are two lovely swaps I received at Stampin' Up!'s OnStage last week. Always fun to see different styles of stamping. This card was created by Karen Biedronski of Maryland. The images are heat embossed with Copper and the flowers are painted with Frost White Shimmer Paint #147046. Stamps: Swirly Frames #146519, Love What You Do #148042, Beautiful Promenade #146842. Colors: Fresh Fig, Powder Pink.

An International WELCOME to Stampin' Up!'s 30th Anniversary OnStage (convention) in Orlando, Florida!

The LOOT! Stampin' Up! had lots of gifts and giveaways to celebrate!!

The first day was an Epcot Playday to thank upper titled demonstrators!

I made sure to visit the Moroccan Venue. It brought back wonderful memories of visiting Morocco several times while my hubby was stationed at the Rota, Spain Naval Base.

Everyone needs Gift Card Holders for the Holiday. This one is very easy!

Cut base card stock 4-1/4" x 11", and score at 5-1/2" and 8-1/2".  Use about a 1" circle punch to punch a thumb hole in the edge of the card stock. This edge folds to the inside of the card and is attached only on the side edges with strong adhesive like Tear & Tape #138995. Attach the inside layer that is 4" X 2-1/2". Last, close your card and attach the front layer so it hides the inside layer. The lovely sentiment is from the Merry Christmas to All Stamp Set #147702.

Here is a FUN "easel card" made with the Dashing Deer Stamp Set #147728! It's easy to create.

Cut the base cardstock 4-1/4" X 11, scored at 5-1/2" and 8-1/4". Create your card and attach only the lower half of the front layer. Inside, place a "STOP" for the lower front edge of the card to rest against. I often place a sentiment on the "stop." The "stop" needs to be dimensionalized. Very simply and impressive! Try it!

Stampin' Up!'s 30th Year Celebration!!

Orlando, Florida

Today, I am at Stampin' Up!'s 30th Anniversary Celebrate in Orlando, Florida!! These are my 100+ swap cards!! When Demonstrators get together, we always bring cards to swap. I'll go home with 100 different cards to inspire me.

For this format, cut off 1" from the front edge of a standard card. Tuck it under the inside layer and fold it over the front of the card. It's very easy!! This stamp set is "Enjoy Life" #148190.

Here you see where to tuck the 1" strip. I used the Neutrals Designer Series 6X6" Stack #146967.

It's BLACK MAGIC Technique! How do you color on black cardstock?? #1 Heat emboss the image in White Embossing Powder. #2 Grab your BLENDS, alcohol markers, and start coloring the embossing. Easy and Impressive!

The Stamp Set is called Graceful Garden #143849. I hadn't used this technique in a long time and my demonstrator friend Shari Wicks reminded me about it again. It's always a WOW!! Try it!
