Note how the lower flowers have a soft shadow of Light Crumb Cake Blends. The base card is embossed with the NEW Subtle Embossing Folder # 143706 that gives a "linen look!"

On this card I did a Resist Technique for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink and heat embossed it using Clear Embossing Powder. Next, I used the Old Olive Blends Marker to write over the "hello" which had no clear embossing on the letters.

These two cards are in the mail to nursing homes. My goal was HAPPY, CHEERY cards so I used bright colors. The envelopes were created with the Envelope Punch Board #133774 and NEW Mango Melody cardstock! That color is sure to bring a SMILE!! I LOVE the NEW Stampin' Up! Colors!! I challenged my TEAM, North Star Stampers, to send monthly cards to someone in a nursing home, battling an illness or any life challenge! It feels so good to SEND A SMILE!! Try it!

This is Abstract Impressions Stamp Set #147513, 21 photopolymer images. MANY years ago, maybe 19-20, Stampin' Up! had a popular stamp set called, "Roses in Winter." This flower is from that set, in honor of Stampin' Up!'s 30th Anniversary Year!! 

This is my FAVORITE color combo "this week" - Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist! It POPS so well!! It's happy!! There are so many exciting new colors to play with!

Really enjoyed creating with these easy multi-step images and fun new colors! My next post will use different images from the same Abstract Impression Stamp Set! Stop Back!
