Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set has been in the Stampin' Up! Catalog for a longggg time because it is a true CLASSIC. Today, I used it to try the BLACK ICE TECHNIQUE: Lightly drag an Archival Black Ink Pad over metallic foil paper. Then stamp your image in black ink. Dry completely with a heat tool. Heat emboss the entire layer using Versamark Ink and Clear Embossing Powder. I personally would have named this technique "tintype," because it looks so much like early photography!!
This one uses Gold Foil. SECRET: I got a big blob of black ink on this foil and didn't like it. So...I punched out the trees and threw away the blob!! LOL I actually like this layout!

My main Stamping Room is in Florida. This is my summer Stamping Room in Godfrey, IL which just got two new improvements. This double ten foot display wire with clips holds tons of cards!! I saw this idea used in the Jacoby Art Center's classroom where I occasionally teach. I found the hardware on Amazon under: Curtain Drape Wire Rod Set with 24 Clips Multi-purpose Set Hang Photos, Notes, Art - $15.99 per set.
This 20 feet of wire will suit my needs perfectly! Top fold cards go over the wire. Side fold cards attached with the sliding clips! Very pleased with the result!!
I also added punch storage with a Mini Cubby by Closetmaid, an online order thru Walmart.com that was $18.34. I just pulled retiring products so I'm low on punches...more are coming! My Stamping Room is always a work in progress! Try one of these ideas in your creative space!!
Grab your Washi Tape! My good friend and fellow Team Member, Linda Niemeyer, sent me this great idea using Washi Tape! Attach assorted Washi Tapes to an adhesive sheet and die cut a word using your Big Shot Die Cutting Machine!! This is just too cute and easy!! So COLORFUL!

Tulips = SPRING!! This is an easy two-step stamp set. I used only Real Red ink pad for the blooms because the images are shaded to show depth without changing colors!
This flower image reminded me of Grape Hyacinths, also an early flowering bulb.

I was thinking of NEHI Orange Soda when I was stamping this! LOL I used Tangerine Tango for the bottles. The Bubble Over Bundle #146082 has some really fun framelits! Love the "bendy" straws and realistic looking bottle caps!!

Peggy Taylor, my friend and a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, sent me this very clever "frame card!" I don't own this stamp set, and had to look it up because I couldn't remember a "frame." SURPRISE - the frame is created by repeating a "U-shaped" arched image! LOVE the results. Thanks for this great idea, Peggy!
