Here is a "comparison" for you today! Two different ways to use the lovely images from Beautiful Day Stamp Set #145915. This red butterfly on vellum, emphasizes the boldness of the outline. 

That emphasis is achieved by using ANY dark color ink for this image.

This time the outline is a light ink which gives a totally different effect. The colors in the wings are more prominent now. The outlines are secondary. The ink is Soft Sky for the image, colored with Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Old Olive Blends.

 Try both dark and light outlines for totally different results!

I NEVER have enough floral images! Southern Serenade Stamp Set #145921 has a lovely lacey image to pair with the floral. I got out Vellum #101856 which I have neglected far too long! This is the "Stained Glass" Technique. Stamp the image on Vellum, dry, color on the BACKSIDE. It's a nice soft look. This is Pink Pirouette cardstock and Blends. Stampin' Write Markers can be used as well.

I scored the left edge of the vellum and wrapped it around the back of the layer to attach. I "hid" a glue dot on the back of a flower center to keep the Vellum flap in place.

Another version - I used Blushing Bride Cardstock and Light Calypso Coral Blends on Vellum. This is a special sympathy card that has already gone in the mailbox.

I received a jar of homemade Blackberry Jam from a very thoughtful friend! YUMMMM!!! I have a stamp set for that!! Here is my Thank You Card!

Jar of Love Stamp Set #141587 and coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits Dies #141490 made my "paper jam." The jam is dark Rich Razzleberry BLENDS. The "sweetest" sentiment is from Fruit Basket Stamp Set #145833.

This is a Panel Card: 8-1/2" X 5-1/2" base card, scored at 2" and 3-1/8" from each side. It stands up and displays very well.

I love that stamping lets me "specialize" my cards to exactly what I want to send and say!

The minute I finished this card, I KNEW it should go to the 91 year old gentleman I send to at a nursing home!! I have never met him, but he mailed me, "Everyday is a Holiday when I receive one of your cards." I get a BIG THRILL sending my cards to him!

I've been excited to begin learning about my STAMPARATUS!! It's a wonderful new advanced stamp positioner by Stampin' Up! Like any new tool, there is a learning curve - working out a system that functions well for me. This big bold "HELLO" from Hello Friend Stamp Set #144059 was my first try!

My second try was an angled sentiment. Perfect alignment is EASY and QUICK!

I really like the EXACT PLACEMENT RESULTS I got with the Stamparatus! I'm off to play more...such a FUN JOB I have!! This handy, dandy new tool, the Stamparatus, will be available in the next Annual Catalog in early June! Put it on your Wish List!

Look at this ADORABLE basket I got in the mail from my great friend and Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Peggy Taylor!! It is sooo sweet and soft!! Without the handle, it measures 4-3/8" tall X 3" square.

Peggy used the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies #145653 for the basket. She embellish it with the Blossoming Basket Bundle, a FREE ITEM, during Sale-A-Bration Promo! Such a lovely Easter Basket!! Thanks for sharing, Peggy!! Peggy was my convention roomie for 12 years!! GOOD memories!

For over a decade this punch art Bunny has been a HIT!! His name is Pete...and Repeat...and Repeat!! LOL He has a way of multiplying because he is so happy and adorable!!

Here is my trick: I like to make a template for the eyes because eye placement can "make or break" a cute little face! Punch two 1/8" holes about in the center of a 1-3/8" circle of Thick Whisper White Card Stock to create your pattern. Lay this template over a punched 1-3/8" Circle and fill in completely with a black Journaling Pen.

    One pink nose - 1/4" Circle

    Two white cheeks - 1/2" Circle, Dimensionalized

    One white head - 1-3/8" Circle, mark eyes with template (above)

    Two white ears - smallest oval in Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies, lightly sponged pink

    One colored layer - 2-5/8" square in Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies # 145372

  The colored layer is Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper #144143.

I "cased" this cute Birthday Milestone card idea! Two relatives are celebrating special Birthdays this month!
