Shelli Gardner, Founder of Stampin' Up! did this fast layout at OnStage Live in November 2017. The idea just stuck in my mind all these months!

Just grab some cardstock scraps and a ribbon that matches one of your colors! Attach to a base card and then stamp across the color blocks! I used the Birthday Wishes for You Stamp Set #145742, the first stamp set in the Occasions Catalog 2018. Try it!
