This stunning Easel Card designed by Julie Aurand of Rockford, IL was voted BEST SWAP at our recent Team Gathering! CONGRATS to Julie (17 year demonstrator) - she had lots of competition!
To create this EASEL card, cut the pop up layer of cardstock 3X6", scoring at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2". Tuck and attach the 1/2" "HINGE" at the top of your card with STRONG adhesive because it is a moving part. Attach the focal image on the lower 3 X 2-3/4" section ONLY. Be sure to add a "STOP" to support the lower edge of the easel - a dimensionalized punch out is perfect.
The Copper Foil center of the Daisy is a real WOW!! Die cut or punch a center about 1/2" in diameter from Copper Foil Paper. Place the circle face down on a piercing mat. Using the larger end of a stylus, rub tiny circles into the the back of the foil. Mount with a dimensional.
This design folds flat for mailing. Colors: Berry Burst, Soft Sky, Crumb Cake. TRY IT!

I have about 50 Orchids in Florida where we live in the winter. I'm in two Orchid Clubs and most members have orchids in the hundreds!! I'm just a hobbyist, but enjoy their beauty! So when I decided to make up some sympathy cards, I grabbed the NEW Climbing Orchid Bundle!
I stamped the orchid in Daffodil Delight and sponged Berry Burst onto the rubber of the center of the flower...then printed it. I love the way the center color blended out with a very realistic look. The dimensionalized center is just Berry Burst. The base card is Pink Pirouette.
I wanted a stately, simple card and was pleased with these results.

Sneak Peek!! This is the versatile PAINTED HARVEST STAMP SET coming September 1, 2017! This image is actually a sunflower, but creates a very pretty holiday wreath!! I love the shading that is built into the two-step image!! The sweet little bow is pre-packaged in the 2017-19 IN COLOR BITTY BOWS #144217 in the annual catalog.
Another color combo shows a little "fork bow" made from the 5/8" Berry Burst Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon #144191.

Grab some fall ink pad colors and Watercolor Paper #122959. Spritz the Watercolor Paper lightly with water. While closed, squeeze the ink pads to get the ink on the inside of the lids. Collect ink from the lid of the ink pad with an Aqua Painter. Apply the colors to the Watercolor Paper. Let dry.

Autumn is on our doorstep. It's time to create with colorful leaves!
Gloss Paper #144240 adds another texture to any design. Drop reinker colors onto gloss paper and sponge the ink to move it around, blending one color into the next.
Stamp detailed leaves onto the dried glossy paper and die cut leaves.
The results!
Leaves are very versatile!

Quilts say comfort. This is a simple card layout of one inch squares. Quilt designs require CONTRAST to pop, so I used two designs with very different color intensity from the Petal Garden Design Series 6X6" Stack. Make sure the squares are the same size.
The Garden Trellis Embossing Folder repeats the design in the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper! The embossing has a "stipple quilted" look - PERFECT!!

I fussy-cut fast so have little white edges that I don't like. TIP: a quick sponging of the edges with the same ink eliminates the white edges and gives a more realistic appearance to the sunflowers!!
These sunflower colors are Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Soft Suede. Excited to play with other color combos, too!

Need a sweet little gift? This is the perfect, never-wilt flower arrangement! I found "cheese shakers" at a big box store for $1.53. The holes in the lid are perfect for 5 Daisies attached to floral wire. I stamped the Daisy, sponged the centers, punched out. QUICK 'n EASY!!
The color is Powder Pink for both cardstock and ink. The "messy bow" is made of Night of Navy 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon attached to a floral wire.
Tip: keep your floral wires short to form a mound. I used 6" of floral wire for each Daisy. These sweet vases would be perfect for a party favor, hostess gift, birthday gift, get well gift, sympathy gift, baby gift for the nursery, ETC!! TRY IT!!

I never have enough flower images! This Beautiful Bouquet (pg. 92-3) is a BIG Bundle! I die cut lots of flowers and then built the bouquet on the stamped stem images. The Bitty Bows embellishments were perfect for the final touch!
Tip: attach the large die cuts first, then fill in with the smaller images.

I love this Oh So Eclectic Bundle (page 133) so much that I chose it for a swap with my TEAM, North Star Stampers. Check out the layers under the flower - the layers are on two adjacent sides only for an asymmetric design!
The new 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon makes the BEST "messy bows!" These colors are Basic Black, Whisper White and Berry Burst.
