It's very easy to create water on your handmade cards. Simply tear cardstock!! Keep your fingers close together and tear towards yourself for the most control. I like to use the torn side with exposed fibers for even more interest and texture. The same "paper tearing" technique can create sand for a beach!

I cut the left edge of the shovel away from the bucket so I could "push" it into the sand! This is another card from my recent FLORIDA THEMED CARDS CLASS. Try tearing some cardstock!!
