Start by stamping and punching THREE Cookie Cutter Christmas "gingerbread men." Score the little characters exactly down the center. Crease well.

Glue half of one character to the half of another. Repeat. Attach to your card. Easy! Folds flat for mailing.

This Star of Light image is two-step stamping.

I started with a quick, light "wash" of Soft Sky ink on Watercolor Paper. After it dried, I stamped the open image in Bermuda Bay and then add the bold image with Soft Sky ink. Since the images are photopolymer, it's a cinch to line up!

I can't read these words without singing them in my mind.

The white star in the center is die cut from Shimmery White Card Stock. I put Tear & Tape on the back of the Shimmery White and die cut the star, cutting the tape at the same time. This works great because no liquid glue squishes out and shows. Try it!

In my last post, I promised another card using Shari's lovely watercolor wash paper. I used the classic Rose Garden Thinlits die for a simple autumn colored rose. Basic Black is a stunning background for almost any color. 

The inside is a surprise of So Saffron card stock! Do you ever use colored card stock for the interior of your cards?? Try it!

Shari Wicks, my friend and team member, designed this lovely Thanksgiving card! She started with watercolor paper and created a "wash" of autumn colors. I LOVE that she flicked on WINK OF STELLA #141898 for shimmer!

Woodland Embossing Folder added the perfect subtle background. This is such a beautiful card! Shari gave me a full sheet of her watercolor wash which I will share in my next post. Stop back.

Santa cannot find Elf No. 2!

Where is he??

The SNEAKY Elf is HIDING behind Elf No. 1 ! GIGGLE! Oh my gosh I LOVE these Double "Z" Fold cards! SOOO many possibilities!!! 

Here is my pattern: Start with your base card stock cut 5-1/4" X 11". Score at 5-1/2" and 2-3/4" which creates a standard "Z" fold. AFTER scoring cut off 1" on the long side. Now you have two Z's to fold and attach. TRY IT - SO FUN!

First I attached the 1" strip - note that it goes under the Emerald Envy Envelope Paper I used as background paper on the FRONT panel. I attached the hiding Elf first, closed the card and lined up the second Elf on top of the hiding Elf. SIMPLE!

 I love this fancy fold that is showing up everywhere! Double Z Fold is the BEST name I've heard for it. It gives you a whole NEW FORMAT that's two dimensional!
