I stamped the Watercolor Wings butterfly in Hello Honey, Tangerine Twist, and Basic Black inks. I die cut it using the coordinating bundled Framelits and my Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.
I added Dazzling Details on all the spots of the wings. Butterflies equal summer!

I'm in Salt Lake City at the annual Stampin' Up! Convention! I have NEVER missed a convention in 18-1/2 YEARS!!! Love them!! Swapping is such a fun part of this event. I take about 200 swaps every year and come home with 200 different ideas and styles!
I planned my design to be VERY economical on cardstock!
My layout uses ALL the designs in the GO WILD Designer Series Paper Stack.
Here is how I cut the designer papers. The waste is only 1/2" X 6".
There is 1/8th of a sheet of Tip Top Taupe cardstock behind the GO WILD Papers. NO waste.
The best part - all the designs of GO WILD work perfectly in my layout! This paper is SO versatile and FUN!! You can't go wrong with neutrals! Try this layout.

Max is our 5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Max was NOT elated with his first time in the pool! We had him sit on the top step for 10 minutes in the warm water. We want him to learn where the steps are located and that's how to get out of the pool. Two minutes after he got out, Max was back on "lizard patrol!" He doesn't eat lizards, but can't resist catching them. Currently we have dwindling numbers of "dumb" baby lizards.
Max loves to nap in my stamping office! He ALWAYS make a nice "pillow" with his blanket! He is a very good boy. We enjoy him so much!

A sleek and simple summer layout! This is soo fast and easy! Definitely Dahlia is a very large image with half of the petals colorless. I stamped in Mint Macaron ink, then used a Sponge Dauber with Soft Sky ink to lightly color the white petals - easy, peasy!
This card was stamped in So Saffron, then sponged with Blushing Bride ink.
It's so EASY. You must try it!

These are the exact colors on the butterfly as the last post...but looks totally different! I love playing with color! By using Soft Sky ink on Soft Sky cardstock, the woodgrain is soft and subtle...and the butterfly POPS!
The finished card is simple, keeping the focus on the butterfly. This Watercolor Wings Bundle is so fun to play using different color combos. I highly recommend it - add it to your collection of precious images! The Hardwood Background Stamp is perfect for nature and masculine themed cards.
