Have you heard about the "ETCHING" technique? It's sooo simple.

Use the fine tip on your BLACK Stampin' Write Marker to make short varied lines by "flicking." The Blended Bloom single stamp is perfect for this technique. Begin at the base of each petal and flick outward. I have seen this stamp done as a stunning "BLACK & WHITE" design. Here is my spin...Pink Pirouette and Black.

Isn't this unique!! Try it yourself and while you are at it, try "STIPPLING" with tiny dots clustered at the base of each petal.

This gives a totally different look.
