Have you played with Washi Tape?? Here is a simple use for Stampin' Up!'s SEASON OF STYLE DESIGNER WASHI TAPE #132155. Cover any scrap of cardstock with strips of Washi Tape, then punch out a tree using the PETITE PENNANTS BUILDER Punch #122361. The tree trunk is on a layer of Whisper White Cardstock with the punched out tree attached over the trunk! EASY & SIMPLE!

OH MY GOSH..I had soooo much fun creating a sweet 5X5" Photo Book with My Digital Studio for our great-niece for Christmas!! It's simple, but I think Eme will love seeing herself in a book. She is two years old.

Eme's Mom has been wonderful to email us many fun pictures of Eme's first two years. I kept the book simple: same background, same matting, no journalling. It was finished in a flash!

My Daughter's Wedding Photo Book

I LOVE the new "photopolymer" stamps by Stamp'in' Up! They are not in the catalog, so you need to find them online. This set is called EYE-CATCHING IKAT!  "Ikat" means: "a fabric in which the yarns have been tie-dyed before weaving." The image often has a blurred edge which you can see in these stamp images.

I used Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green in this layout as a holiday gift "thank you." I DID NOT need the Stamp-a-ma-jig positioner, because you can see very well thru the CLEAR stamp!! You need to try these!!

Have you noticed my posts have gotten interrupted lately? Lots is going on at our house and I'm having trouble focusing on creating. Today we getting a new Lennox Air Conditioner! I can't live in Florida without A/C!! So OUT with the old, in with the NEW, RELIABLE, high-efficiency A/C! CHA-CHING!$!$!$!$

As you may remember, we bought our neighbor's villa so we could get a pool for the HOT summers. This will be my new stamping room...eventually. I'm thrilled with this built in shelving unit!!! But not so thrilled with the finish, so I'm making it my own. I'll have "before and after" pictures when all is completed. I hardly know it's Christmas, because I've been totally immersed in flooring, paint colors, and new furniture!

Scallop Circle Card

Don't forget you will need Thank You Notes after the Holidays! This is the MASKING TAPE TECHNIQUE. Lay a strip of blue painter's tape on your ink pad and give it a quick rub.   Next, move the same tape and lay it down on your cardstock and rub. Remove the tape and the color remains! It gives a watercolor appearance!

Stamp anything on top of the colors. I did three different colors for interest. Try it!
