Such a CLASSIC! This card is ALWAYS a hit...year after year! The art copyright date is 2001 - it's been around a longggg time!! The secret is Craft White Ink (#101731) to create the snow. Use a sponge dauber to "scrub" on the ground snow. Use the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set (#130514 wood or #130517 clear) for the snowflakes.

This simple classic holiday card from my recent Christmas Cards Class is created with the Joyful Christmas Stamp Set of 4 images. The Gold Foil Paper adds a lovely shiny texture!
The flower center is sponged using a Sponge Dauber. Dazzling Diamonds Glitter is the final touch! This card is simple to mass produce for Christmas!!

Orchid excitement!

I have long enjoyed gardening! I've been learning about Orchids for a year now and own 9. This is my pride and joy!! Wish this were SMELL-A-VISION because this orchid smells like lilacs!
My plant has SEVEN flower stalks, two of which are just opening!! The secret: weekly liquid fertilizer during the growing season.
Caladiums, also known as Elephant Ears, do very well here in Florida, also! They are sooo colorful!
This is also a Caladium, called AFRICAN MASK. It's dominant veining is striking! I try to do most of my gardening INSIDE of the screens. It's rather buggy here, near the Creek. Bugs love me. What are your favorite plants?

Cards as Gifts

I enjoy giving a little pack of my hand made cards as a gift. This was a recent class I called "Cards as Gifts" and everyone loved the idea! Here is the folder - fast, easy and inviting!
This pattern shows you how easy you can create this folder. On 8.5X11 cardstock: score at 5.5", rotate and score at 2.5". Remove a small "V" at the center of the fold up flap. Apply Sticky Strip at "XXX's." Fold. Decorate!
Inside the folder are four lovely cards and envelopes. The Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper #130131 gives this project interest and a GREAT color combo! Try it!

Gosh I LOVE my Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. I use it to create sooo many things! This is a great example! I used four dies on this Autumn Thank U.
Tips: when using thinlit "word" dies, place waxed paper between the cardstock and thinlit so it releases easily. To attach thinlit "words" use tiny drops of Tombow Liquid Glue applied with a toothpick.

My Daughter's Wedding Photo Book

This is the cover of our youngest daughter's 8.5X11" Wedding Photo Book that I created with MY DIGITAL STUDIO. Their wedding colors were Black & White with a touch of Razzleberry.
This is a sample page showing how I dialed down the impact of the Razzleberry to make a very pale page color. I also changed the photo from Rectangular to Oval with a mat. I'm NOT "techie!" Grab a can out of your recycling bin and make it USEFUL! I've covered two tin cans with Designer Series Papers and ribbon. I used Sticky Strip to attach the papers. Now they hold pens and tools to keep me organized. Coordinate the papers with your room! It's sooo simple and economical!
