Spring Sneek Peek

It's a lovely Sunday afternoon in SW Florida! Sitting in the back screened in porch in shorts, bubbling fountain, perfect temp! Summer is DARN HOT & HUMID, so I want to appreciate every minute of winter! This passed week I achieved a monumental personal goal. I had FOUR left leg surgeries in just 2 yrs. This week I gave up my cane and am so very grateful to be walking fairly well without it! The cane was a help but annoying - and made me feel old. I'm finally FREE!! Hurray!

Thanks to everyone who came to my annual Stamp, Scrap, & Craft Supplies Sale! It was a huge success! Hope to see many of you at my Feb. and Mar. classes to create some classy cards! All levels of experince are welcome. Click Nancy's EVENTS at the top of the page to see what's going on!!

LOTS of detail and variety in this design! Hubby did offer me his beer cap for creating...I declined because it smelled...like beer - ick!

Who doesn't love the CRISPNESS of Polka Dots!! I punched a bunch of scalloped circles from the NEW Creped Filter Paper. Stacked them, then put a brad thru the center. I crunched the layers and got these fluffy flowers! TIP: If you have trouble punching the Filter Paper, simply add a sheet of copy paper for stability while punching.

I was tempted to sponge or spritz the flowers, but decided the pure white was sooo clean with the fresh Polk Dots!

LOVE this card! Think I'll repeat it in several other colors of Polka Dots. Try it yourself!
