It's FABRIC!

100_1810
Here is a trick to make the Petite Purse Die projects extra durable!! I attached the Designer Fabric to coordinating Real Red Cardstock with a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet! Just peel and stick, then die cut with the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine!

100_1811
The inside is RED! Give this trick a try! It's simple. Buy your Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets HERE!

Twin Tote

100_1792
This sweet little TWIN TOTE is a snap to create with the Petite Purse Die and the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine!!

100_1788
Die cut two purses at the same time. Assemble the sides.

100_1789
Place the purses back-to-back and attach the "lids." Cut off the little closure tab.

100_1791
Punch a circle into the "lids" you just glued together to create a handle. Then embellish! This goes together very quickly! I used the soft BEAU CHATEAU Designer Series Paper and added butterflies made from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit. Give this a try for the perfect table favors!

Cased it!

100_1745
"CASE" means copy-and-share-everything... and I did. I saw this idea by Shoni Matney and LOVED the softness. This is the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set - not so bright. The colors are Pool Party, Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla and a pop of Daffodil Delight.

100_1748
The delicate background is the Netting Stamp.

Clarification: Stampin' Up! ink pads are being re-designed, NOT discontinued. Beginning June 1st, Stampin' Up! will only carry Black and White in the CRAFT ink pads, which are pigment pads.

Faux or fake?

100_1742
This sweet little number was a Make & Take from Stampin' Up!'s Leadership 2012. The assorted flowers are die cuts from the Occasions Mini Catalog called Blossom Builders. SOOO easy! The layer behind the flowers is simply traced from On Board Merry Medley and then lightly sponged.

100_1744
The side view shows that the scalloped front flap is fake...or artistically called "faux flap."

Lido Key Kayaking

100_1795
This is Lido Key at Sarasota, FL on the Gulf coast. My hubby and I joined our Boat Club friends for a "Paddle!" Here we are in the Mangroves, a lovely narrow channel with crystal clear waters. The Mangroves are plants with NUMEROUS roots and literally hold sandy Florida together!

100_1797
Here is a closer picture of the Mangroves, an important ecosystem to FL. Wish the clearness of the water showed better.

100_1798
There I am waving in the background. We stopped at a sandbar outside of the Mangroves for a stretch...this was my first kayak trip so I appreciated the rest.

100_1800
We had a relaxing adventure, picnic lunch and then packed up to head home. My effiecent Pruis can haul just about anything! Notice my FL license plate! I was able to get my "STAMPUR" plate again. It stands for rubber stamping & kitty cats! Currently we don't have any purring felines - sure do miss them!!

Sweetness!

100_1737
This is the charming Bright Blossoms Stamp Set which is part of the Summer Smooches APRIL Special! I paired the blossom and leaves onto the SAME clear block for easy positioning! The Daffodil Delight Seam Binding is NEW and in the April Special also - I love the flexibility of the Seam Binding Ribbons!

100_1738
Sweetness from me to YOU! Purchase the Summer Smooches Products NOW!

Fabric Stickers!

100_1643
I created FABRIC STICKERS with the Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets! It's quite easy. Simply peel apart the Adhesive Sheet and spread on the Twitterpated Designer Fabric on the sticky side. Now it can go into the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine!

100_1644
Next, peel the backing off and place your fabric shape onto your project! TOO FUN!! These flowers are made with the Blossom Party Die. Give this a try and you'll be amazed at how easy it is!

Mouthwatering...

100_1734

I love the way Stampin' Up!'s products coordinate! This is a perfect example. The Sweet Shop Designer Series Paper has the ice cream cone image that pairs perfectly with the Mouthwatering Stamp Set! Creating simplified.

100_1735
The Sweet Shop Designer Series Paper also gives you a great color palette to work with!

Summer Butterflies!

100_1739
This beautifully designed card was sent to me by Tami Waddell of CA! The postal system "re-designed" it during transit, so here is my re-make. The butterflies are the Beautiful Butterflies Die and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit, both for the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. The Big Shot is Vastly Versatile

100_1740
Note the background behind the butterfly, it's created with the NEW Simply Scored and the Diagonal Plate! Lots of texture in this lovely greeting card! Neutrals are sooo striking.

Been at Sea!

100_1785
My hubby and I just returned from 7 days on the Carnival Liberty, visiting the Western Caribbean for our 40th Anniversary! VERY RELAXING!!

100_1754
This is a Fruit Market in Belize. The Pineapple was unbelievably SWEET!! YUM!

100_1753
Our cabin Steward created different "Towel Art" for our cabin each day. This teddy bear was my FAV!!

100_1768
This unique plant is Clianthus, commonly known as Parrott's Bill or Lobster Claw. You can see why!

Vintage-look bookmark...

100_1694
This lovely vintage bookmark was a gift from my friend, Janell of Byron, IL. This is the Artistic Etchings Stamp Set of six images. Note the Artichoke Seam Binding that is cut in half to make it thinner - clever and unique.

100_1692
The back of the bookmark has a triangle pocket that fits over the corner of your book to mark your place.

100_1693
Here is a view of the back side and the pocket. It's a very useful little gift and sooo mailable!

Elegant Bird in flight!

100_1698
Judy from Rockford, IL sent me this gorgeous bird created from the Elegant Bird Die and the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. The bird is Twitterpated Designer Fabric attached with the Big Shot Adhesive Sheets.

100_1697
This lovely 6"X7" creation arrived in a Twitterpated Designer Series Paper envelope custom-made with the Simply Scored and Diagonal Plate! SOO special!

100_1699
The card inside is just as inviting! This is a wonderful example of all the Occasions Mini Catalog new Dies for the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine! Just a reminder - the Occasions Mini Catalog ENDS April 30th.

Try Stencilling

100_1652
The April Special has a lovely stencil called Summer Smooches. I used it here with Stampin' Sponges and Classic Ink Pads. No matter how dark or bright the colors, stencilling always has a comforting softness I love!

100_1653
I LOVE the new Daffodil addition to the Seam Binding colors. Perfect for Spring!
