Yo Yo Project
03/17/2012
This is my Gandma's Sewing Lamp and I sooo happy I have it! I needed a new lampshade so I embellished a plane white shade with Yo Yos. Yesterday I taught you how to make Yo Yos quick and easy with the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.
I hot glued Baja Breeze Pleated Ribbon around the lower edged, and then hot glued on my Yo Yos created from Stampin' Up! Fabrics.
For balance, I needed a top treatment. I attached fabric to the peel-and-stick Big Shot Adhesive Sheets and then cut a scallop from Tasteful Trim Die. That created a "Fabric Sticker" I could simple peel and stick to the top edge. Last, another row of Pleated Ribbon.
I think Grandma would LOVE it and be happy I have her little sewing lamp in my Stamp Room to enjoy!!
How pretty and sweet! Oh, those yo yos possibilities are endless :) Sure makes a lovely rembrance :)

How cute is that?! I love it and the story that it was your Grandms's sewing lamp - so appropriate - OK, now you have inspired me. Could you now find me some more time? LOL! I'll just have to MAKE time!
